HAM SALAD
I USE A FOOD PROCESSOR TO MAKE MINE/NO EXACT
MEASUREMENTS RUN HAM IN PROCESSOR TILL YOU REACH THE
TEXTURE YOU LIKE REMOVE PUT A FEW STALKS OF CELERY AND
SOME CANDIED SWEET PICKLES IN AND PROCESS THOSE, YOU CAN ADD ONION TOO. BUT YOU DONT HAVE TOO, YOU CAN USE
REGULAR PICKLE RELISH INSTEAD OF SWEET PICKLES AND YOU CAN THROW IN SOME RED PEPPER OR PIMENTOES FOR
COLOR. MIX UP THE WHOLE THING WITH A FEW GOOD SIZE
SPOONFULS OF MAYONAISSE. IF YOU LIKE IT A LITTLE SWEETER, SPRINKLE IN SOME SUGAR. IT IS VERY FORGIVING AND
EVERYONE LIKES THEIRS FLAVORED A LITTLE DIFFERENT. I DONT THINK YOU CAN MAKE IT WRONG.
MAUIGRILLED PORK CHOPS
6 Pork chops (about 3/4"
thick)
Maui Sauce
1 Tin (19 oz.) Crushed Pineapple
with juice
1/2 cup Soy Sauce (orless if
watching salt intake)
2 tbsp. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Ginger
1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp. Pepper
Put all sauce ingredients into
bowl. Stir. Add chops. Marinate for 2 hours in fridge. Place chops on greased grill over medium heat. Turn and
baste every 3 to 4 minutes until cooked, about 12 to 15 minuites total time.
While grilling chops, heat
marinade in saucepan on side of grill & simmer. Serve with chops. (this sauce goes very well with rice as a
side dish)
